This was so good. I almost cried. Almost.

Hahahaha Wally took one look at the cover and was kind enough to point out, “You’re not even reading young adult novels anymore. That’s seriously from the kid’s section.”
I read Tamora Pierce’s Terrier and Bloodhound last summer maybe? I enjoyed it, and seeing as those were a companion/prequel to the Song of the Lioness series, I figured I’d give her other novels a shot.

Despite the cover, I really really enjoyed it. I was angry when I finished, because I didn’t have the next book.

This book was wonderful and fantastic. It was so well done and put together beautifully.
Dealing with carnivorous horses from the ocean as in fairy tales? Take it at face value. I loved the way that water horses were not what the story was about - the story was still first and foremost about her characters and their development.

Falling behind in my log again. Welp

I actually wasn’t sure about this one - I put it in my reading queue without reading what it was about, and then when I got it was thinking to myself “ehhhhh.”
It was pretty good though!

I have a bad habit of reading books that have sequels and then reading the sequels before the other 11 books I have out from the library.

Another one by Atwater-Rhodes. It’s a vampire story, but not overly so. It was okay for a quick read.
